The American Medical Association Foundation will develop and study a physician-led collaborative model for assisting physicians in managing clinical data. The long-term goal of the project is to provide generalizable resources for physicians using any type of electronic health record to assist them in capturing, reporting and utilizing data for nationally recognized clinical performance measures in patient care and practice improvement. Funding from The Physicians Foundation will support physicians in overseeing and improving their patients' cardiovascular care using evidence-based, nationally recognized, physician clinical performance measures integrated into electronic health record systems.
