The Baylor Research Institute will address an important gap in the national agenda to reduce errors and improve patient safety by developing, evaluating and improving the effectiveness of an intervention program to improve patient safety in ambulatory primary care practices. The Physicians Foundation will support the Baylor Research Institute in implementing its program in the practices of numerous physicians from Baylor's physician practice organization, HealthTexas.
